Makenzie is a true Gemini—curious, adaptable, and always ready to try something new. She’s willing to try her hand at everything at least once. While her interests are wide-ranging, she’s refined her skills in digital media, transforming her passion for creativity into a versatile career.

Her journey began with a love for photography in high school, where she quickly made a name for herself by winning state-wide competitions and capturing friends' bands in action. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Film from Loyola University Chicago, where she fully immersed herself in the music scene, serving as Music Director for WLUW 88.7 for two years and working at Vocalo Radio, Chicago’s NPR music station. These roles deepened her love for music and the people who share it, leading her down an unexpected path in radio where she still serves as Radio Promotions Coordinator for artists at Tiger Bomb Promo to this day.

Beyond her work with photos, radio, and digital media, Makenzie finds joy in baking, gaming, and exploring new music— sometimes even making it herself. For her, every day is another chance to learn, create, and connect.
